Christmas Decorations

We started the indoor decorating, umm, one night last week. Thursday? Friday? I'm not really sure. Anyway, the above picture explains why I might be having a hard time remembering this.
The guest bedroom went smoothly. There are some new additions to our vacation collection of ornaments. You'll notice there is not a New Orleans ornament. A 24 hr stay and hurricane evacuation does not lend itself enough time for ornament purchasing.
I told Jared the kitchen feels disjointed this year. Like I have too many styles or color schemes or something going on. He just sort of stared at me for a minute then walked out of the room.
The 2nd tree we bought for the living room. We got a real tree as usual, but had to give it to Jared's parents. Remember how I ended up in the ER last year after we bought it? Well my eyes were nearly swollen shut within an hour of purchasing the real tree this year. My allergies just can't handle it, so Jared headed out for an artificial tree on Sunday (while I was still itching like crazy...).
We started on the tree around 9 or 10 Sunday night and finished around midnight. Long weekend! But hey, it all got done. Finally.

Is your Christmas tree up yet? Did you buy a real one, have to give it away, then go in search of a fake one? Nope? Just me? Ok then.
